Answers:
Getting started is easy. The first step is to attend a free Social Dance with Group Lesson - any Wednesday or Saturday at 7pm. During the beginner to intermediate lesson, the instructor will determine your current level and recommend an appropriate course for you to continue. Drop ins are welcome - no partner needed!
Can I really learn to dance?
Yes. Dancing is as easy as walking once you are taught how by a Strictly Ballroom expert. We teach simple, basic elements from which the steps are derived. Thousands of people have been successfully trained at Strictly Ballroom Dance Studio. There is no age limit. Our oldest students are over 80. The youngest is four years old.
How long will it take?
The length of your course will depend on how many dances you want to learn and how proficient you wish to become in each dance. However, you will be able to dance after your first lesson.
How much do lessons cost?
Please see our pricing page for specifics. Tuition varies, depending on a number of factors, e.g., how good you want to be, what dances you want to learn, and your dance schedule. Remember - Your first Group Class & Social Dance Party is free. After that lesson, your instructor will recommend a program and will be able to answer any questions, so you will have the knowledge to make an informed choice.

After I learn to dance, will I still have to return to learn the newest steps?
After getting a good foundation, you will be able to analyze the new steps and pick them up yourself without difficulty. However, many students return or continue because they enjoy their lessons and the dancing friends they've acquired.
When can I take lessons?
Whenever you have time... we can accommodate nearly any schedule. The studio is open Monday thru Saturday from 11am to 9pm. We have a full staff and our teachers are available when you are.
